Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Clear-Cut footage look better than typical remote recordings?

Because we don’t record the call — we record each camera locally.

Video is captured on every participant’s device and uploaded every few seconds, so it isn’t compressed by live streaming (no “Zoom look”). Each participant also gets their own separate audio and video track. Slow or unstable internet does not affect the recording quality.

With a horizontal setup (laptop or phone sideways), we record 16:9 in HD up to 4K.

What makes local recording different?

Traditional online recordings depend on your internet connection in real time — which often leads to lag, freezes, or “robot voice.”

With local recording, your internet quality doesn’t affect the final result.
Say goodbye to jerky video, distorted audio, and dropped frames — even if someone’s Wi-Fi isn’t perfect.

What video resolution do you support?

We always capture the best quality your device can provide.

If your camera supports Full HD, 2K, or even 4K, we record it at that resolution. No artificial limits, no forced downscaling.

What happens to the recording after we start?

While you’re recording, the files are uploaded to the cloud in real time.

That means:

  • No waiting for massive uploads after the session

  • No risk of losing the recording if something goes wrong

  • Your files are ready for post-production almost immediately after you stop recording

  • Access to the original recordings whenever you need them

Do I receive raw files or a finished episode?

You receive a publish-ready episode.

Clear-Cut Podcasting doesn’t stop at recording. We handle the full post-production process — audio cleanup, edits, and final delivery — so you don’t have to deal with raw files unless you want to.

Can I request changes or give feedback?

Yes. You’ll get a feedback round before final delivery.

If you want adjustments — pacing, cuts, audio balance, or small edits — just leave your feedback and we’ll refine the episode until it’s ready to publish.

Do I still get access to the raw recordings?

If you want them, yes.

By default, we focus on delivering a finished episode, but raw audio and video files are available if you need them for your own workflows, archives, or repurposing.

Do I get separate tracks for each participant?

Yes — every participant gets their own audio and video track.

This makes post-production much easier:

  • Clean audio balancing

  • Individual noise reduction

  • Precise video edits

  • Better clips for social media
